[SOLVED] password problem

I forgot to assign the root password and to add my account to the sudoers in the installation process, how can I fix it?

Boot up in Single User Mode and execute passwd command to set new root password.

Boot into runlevel 1.
you will direct root access.

Thanks for reply, but how to boot up in Single User Mode? there is no such option in the grub menu.

when u get grub menu hit "e"
put "single" on line like this
