nvidia

I am attempting to install the nividia drivers using pacman.
I do
Code:
pacman -Sy nvidia
Then I recieve this error.
libgl-dri conflicts with nvidia, delete libgl-dri(Y/n) y

libgl-dri is needed by mesa
libgl-dri is needed by xmms

I haven't tried the traditional way yet.
Will do that tommorrow if I can't get this to work.

Ooo, first post in the new section

When I ran into this, "pacman -Sf nvidia" worked for me.

Have you tried it this way?
Code:
pacman -Rd libgl-dri
pacman -S nvidia
You might have to use the f switch to remove libgl-dri but it gets reinstalled with nvidia. Not sure it'll work but it's worth a try.

That command removed libgl-dri just fine, thanks ozar.
