makeworld?

I just came across a program named makeworld on my Arch machine. After looking around Google, I couldn't find anything; anyone here know what it does?

Thanks!

Perhaps it is a cousin of the "makeworld" in Gentoo. And it rebuilds all your system.

Does that mean it does the same thing as makepkg? If not, what does it do instead?
