I've lost my start menu and all taskbar Icons in KDE?

It happend when I upgraded my underground desktop installation using pacman. it basically converted the installation to arch, but when I rebooted I no longer had my start menu or taskbar Icons. Im guessing that a path has been changed in a config file somewhere. does anyone know which file contros this? Thanks

Hmmmm....this is an interesting problem. I can't think of anything off hand (and I don't know how different underground is from Arch). Do you have all of the packages available from the kde meta-package (pacman -S kde) installed? Have you tried killing the kde panel and reloading it?

I solved the problem, sort of. I rebuilt the taskbar/system tray using the add applet/application thing. It may not have been the best way but it worked. I have completely lost the underground kde theme it keeps saying the path isnt found when I boot up. It was a really nice theme. Oh well I guess.

Does underground have their own pacman repo? Could the theme be there?

If not, try www.kde-look.org - you may be able to find the theme there.

I'll have to look at the sources to see if there is or not, it appears that it just uses the arch repos.

What was the theme name? I can see if I can find it for you.

Is it possible that there is an 'underground' theme package on the cd?

If not, here you go: http://www.ludos.org/Underground/02x...und-1.0.tar.gz
