I downloaded Archlinux iso from its site and tried to install it but when i boot from cd it gets stopped at some line regarding the ntfs support. pls help ...

That seems like an interesting error message. Can you post the exact message and maybe some information about your partition layout? How far did you get in the install?

So, according to the link abhishek456 provided, the bug is fixed in the newest install CD's (version 2007.08.1). Is that the version you're using?
