Changing the framebuffer image
The Arch IRC pissed me off a bit. I was trying to figure out how to change the framebuffer image during boot (by default it's the Arch 'A'), and instead of even trying to be helpful the four or five people chatting in there kept ranting about how it did nothing but bloat the system. It's like they had nothing better to do than to argue with people, because when I entered one was getting cussed out (now I'm guessing he deserved it).
Anyways, I'm back in a more friendly environment so: Anyone know how to change the framebuffer image?

Framebuffer image
Have a look at this thread Arch Linux Forums / replace the arch logo in the framebuffer during boot? which may solve your issue.
