[SOLVED] Installing Arch to USB
Hey everyone, recently been trying to install Arch onto my usb and have run into some trouble
I'm using the chrysocome method and installed the dd.
Whenever I start the writing process using
dd.exe if=archlinux-2010.10.17-netinstall-x86_64.iso of=//./h:
it writes, but when it finishes my USB is corrupted and it will not boot.
Any help is appreciated.

I've never used the windows port of dd. Probably easier to just use unetbootin.

I've heard some people having problems with unetbootin for Arch. But what the heck, I'll give it a shot!
Thanks!Last edited by Batman001; 12-01-2010 at 05:22 PM.

Hmm, I never had trouble, though it's been a while.

Yeah I had some trouble with unetbootin, did not work correctly for me.
I tried the flashnul method, everything worked smoothly and now have Arch on USB.
Thanks for the help!
