preparing hard drive:
I am trying to install Arch on a computer that already had Window Xp and Linux Mint. I used Gparted live to create the extra partitions I need for Arch, but when I try to Prepare hard drive in the Arch setup I get an error: FATAL ERROR: "Bad primary partition 1" Partition ends in the final partial cylind Press any Key to exit cfdisk"
Is this something I can fix with gparted? I don't really understand what is wrong

Post the output of fdisk -l.
Also, are you looking to replace XP and Mint? Or add Arch as an additional OS?Jay
