Help with network manager

I just installed network manager in KDE I also accidentally tried to install the old KDE network manage and I think I screwed up my Library's. should I delete these files it is complying about and re install the network-manager applet.

Hi,

Network Manager is finicky and doesn't work on every Linux machine. Perhaps you could download WICD and install that instead of Network Manager. However, make sure that you have completely deleted the previous manager, before installing WICD.

I think that you will find WICD much friendlier, ans easier to work with.

I tried WICD I'm having the same problems with that I think I have a config problem I need to learn more about configuring my network connection any one have a suggestion on a good wiki to read.

.so files are compiled, so what you are seeing are the random bytes that make up the library. What are you trying to do?

New networkmanager and network-manager-applet packages went into the Arch repos yesterday, so maybe installing them, or totally removing your current packages and any configs, then installing the new packages will fix things for you.
