Hello and Welcome!
I'm not entirely sure of the detailed differences. But they are architecture folders for different CPU platforms.
Can't find anything definite for plat, but this might clear something up on Mach: Mach (kernel) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopediaJay

I understand that mach defines the setting regarding the board but almost same task is performed by plat . so my question is basically DIFFERENCE.
