Installing a Desktop Environment on Arch Linux
I was wondering if anybody could work with me or getting a desktop environment on Arch Linux. If you have a pdf book, that would be great.
Also, I would like to know how to connect to my wireless router or direct connect to my router using Arch Linux.
I would like any resources in this regard.

I've not run Arch, but this page looks quite helpful: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Beginners%27_Guide
Also, pacman is your friend.Jay

Thanks alot Roky and Jay. The links helped out alot.
I've visited the Arch Linux website several times but never saw the segment on installing X Server, nor the beginner's guide.
Thanks again

Yeah... the wiki pages are kinda hard to find on some pages.
But once you see them, they're a crown jewel!

Just to test. I turned off my wreless. Opened the downloaded html in firefox. Browsed the user guide while disconnected from the internet. A lot smaller download than a .pdf file. Works using Dillo browser also in offline mode to.

Arch wiki is one of the best sources of information around, the begginers guide (the one linked on second post) has all you need to setup a desktop environment. I am sitting on Gnome3 here
