    Partially out of a need to know and partially out of compulsion I did a complete reinstall. As soon as the very base install was finished I ran pacman -Syu. It updated to the newest kernel. Afterwards I configured everything the way it was. Rebooted. It works completely fine. Must of been some kind of bug.

    I hate not knowing exactly what it was though. Anyway, thanks for the help Rubberman.
