    NO SOUND from headphones on HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx

    Hey Everyone. I have an HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx laptop with beats audio and dual audio jacks. The speakers work fine, but there is no sound through the jack, which to me is more important than the speakers. I tried the models given by the Arch wiki to no avail. Changing the models to the one's suggested did little to solve my issues, one even turned off my speakers.

    Running cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep Codec outputs:
    Code:
    Codec: IDT 92HD81B1X5
    Codec: Intel CougarPoint HDMI
    Code:
    $ lspci | grep -i Audio
    00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 05)
    and cat /proc/asound/card*/codec* | grep name outputs:

    Did you check controls in alsamixer?
    Also watch what will be changed in alsamixer when you plug your phones.
