    Can't get epiphany browser to work with proxy

    My distro is Hyperbola, which is Arch-based. I finally got epiphany to recognize my proxy (Privoxy) settings through environment variables (it ignored Gnome settings). But no websites load. Internal Privoxy pages are the only pages that load.

    The pages try to load for a long time, then show the error message
    The precise error was: Error performing TLS handshake: An unexpected TLS packet was received.
    Other browsers are working fine with Privoxy. When I start epiphany from the command line, I see no errors besides a warning about the ad blocking list and Gtk-Critical errors.

    My proxy settings weren't declared correctly. I left out the final "/."

    It should have been
    export lala_proxy=lala://host:port/
    lala=http, I can't post links yet.
