Black screen at boot
Hello, all.
I'm using Arch Linux 0.7.2 Gimmick. All the available packages were installed, but when I booted my system up, I received a black screen with a blinking cursor. The GRUB screen didn't even load. I followed every instruction and edited my config files as necessary, but I have no idea what went wrong. I am on a Dell computer with an Intel 82865G graphics chipset.
Thanks.

I forgot to install GRUB to the MBR, so that's been fixed. I can see the boot screen now, but the boot process ends up at a kernel panic over init not being found. Also, any value I put for root= in the kernel parameter won't work. I guess I'll just have to reinstall Arch, since GRUB reinstallation didn't fix it.
