Arch won't install
I have installed Arch many times now. And each time I do it the same way. And each time it has worked until now.
When I try to "configure the system" (the step during installation) it gives me this:
I have even tried only installing the core packages, and it still gives it to me. Even after rebooting and everything.
MKINITCPIO FAILED - SYSTEM MAY NOT BOOT
starting mkinitcpio . executing chroot /mnt /sbin/mkinitcpio -p linux >>/v chroot: failed to run command '/sbin/mkinicpio': no such fiel or directory
I continued this time though, and it booted fine.
Any ideas? Does it matter if that step worked in installation or is it fine?
Hay jreidsma, I hope you are well.
mkinitcpio is the config used to allocate Modules (programs) to RAM for easy access, in Arch-Linux Its not compulsory but it is handy, your system will run fine without it.
You can manualy try and download and install with :
$ git clone git://projects.archlinux.org/mkinitcpio.git
Just in case The files was corrupted or missing.
