Hello, I new to the forum and relatively new to linux.
I'm installing Arch Linux onto my laptop and I've had no issue up until the point of installing my wireless driver. I've gotten the driver files and tried installing it myself (it seemed easy enough, as it had an autorun script) but that outputs an error which is beyond me. I've looked throughout the Arch Wiki and I can't find anything. Can somebody take me through the process?

wow. How did you know which driver? Just from common knowledge? All I saw was that it clearly said "...RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express..." and that clearly does not say "rtl8192se."
EDIT: not trying to be a smartass or anything (if it seems that way), just trying to wrap my head around it.
Reed9 is a Super Duper Wifi wiz that's for sure.

No, I'm not quite sure how to use pacman for that.. If its on the AUR, it is accessed via pacman, correct?
I'm not familiar with Arch, sadly. But I'm sure someone who is, will be along soon.
If the package you want is in the community repo, you'll need to enable that repo in your /etc/pacman.conf file. If it's not in community, you can build the package by downloading the package build from AUR, then use pacman to install your freshly built package. You can check the Arch wiki for steps to build and install packages.Quote:
