| It's not that easy, I've found that KDE icons are complex vector designs with lots of paths and shapes. You should look at some tutorials on vectors. Assuming you already Googled for the tutorial I would say that there are no specific tutorials for KDE icons at all.
I would suggest getting the icons in SVG format and then disassembling it using Inkscape to take a look on how they're made
