Can anyone tell me a program that i can make PNG animations with?

Hi flipjargendy,

PNG animation format is called MNG and as far as I know there is no MNG animation soft for Linux rather then GIMP GAP (Gimp Animation Packgage) which isn't very useable yet. Rather then that there is a number of programs for Win* that do MNG for instance JASC's Animation Shop Pro (which is a shame considering that MNG as PNG is a free format).

If anyon has any information of a descent MNG (PNG) animation soft for Linux please do post it here. I have been searching for one for a looooong time.

You can use Image Magick to create animated .pngs. Here's a short tutorial on how to:

i didn't think it would have a man file but it did, the command to make an MNG file is:

convert -delay [ frames per second ? ] filename.* filename1.* filename2.* output.png

Here is what i did when i make it a PNG file it wouldn't work in the browser, maybe because i'm using Mozilla though:
