[OMS]

Has anybody any experience with audacity.

When I select "play other tracks while recording new one" all the new tracks that i record sound really bad quality, as though the fidelity is really low (my guitar actually sounds like a bass, could it be something to do with the number of samples? I don't know). I've checked the sample rate and it isn't that (EDIT: I've since checked to see whether my soundcard supports full duplex and it does). I can record new tracks fine with this option disabled but sadly this isn't conducive to good recording.

I've googled around for a while and it doesn't seem to be a common problem.

I'm running fc3 and have downloaded the audio package through apt from planetccrma so I have the low-fi kernel.

Any help would be appreciated.
