downloading Gimpshop
Does anyone know a link to download gimpshop for windows that actually works each time i download it and try to run it i get an error message saying the download is corrupted or incomplete have encountered this problem on several occasions with multiple downloads from different sites.

Try www.gimpshop.com as they have a copy of it hosted there. maybe that one will work.
