Blender II

Yeah, I've just gotten into blender. I'm pretty rotten at it, but it's fun. These two pics are me trying to learn mirroring:

I'm learning blender so I can make some backgrounds.

Pretty Rotten?? Those are excellent compared to my first images, which are far to bad to even post.

Actually, I prefer to call mine 'abstract'.

Great work!

I really love Blender, but I'm sort of pissed off that all my 3d Studio Max knowlege doesn't make a damn difference. Since it's an entirely separate, custom, environment that doesn't really follow any sort of system standards, not only do I have to figure out how to use the tools, I have to figure out how to use them in very very unconventional ways.

It's for the best though. Supposedly, once you learn all the hotkeys, you're able to make things pretty damn lightening fast.

I had that problem too, but the terminal says cannot find registry key, is yafray installed? (For win32)

The listbox has yafray as a choice, but, maybe you have to install yafray?

Or maybe the environment variable isn't set correct.
