Problem with gap plugin

Hello i am new to using gimp. I am trying to do this tutorial at this link here:

http://www.gimptalk.com/forum/topic/...al-9554-1.html

when i get to the part to go to video and duplicate frames it gives me this error message:

GIMP Message

Plug-In crashed: "gap_plugins"
(/usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gap_plugins)

The dying Plug-In may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

This is what the terminal window outputs:

*** glibc detected *** /usr/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins/gap_plugins: free(): invalid p

Why does it do this. I am using linux fedora core 5, Gimp 2.2.13, and gap plugin 2.0.2-2 and have tried -1 and -4. I dont know if anyone needs anymore information but if you do let me know. Thanks for any help with this.
