Need a programmer

I am a total Linux newbie, a Windows XP user and----

I need a small program written for me for which I will pay.

I daily visit a web site on which I manually click a button. I need to automate this clicking action and need a program to do the clicking for me.

I will soon install Ubuntu. I do not know whether the web site I access now via my Windows browser can be accessed with my Linux system-

-but either way I need a small program that will automate a now manual clicking function I use frequently.

Anybody interested can email me and I will further describe my need.
And, if you can do the job I will pay you.

I'm little confused, why would you need a program that automaticlly clicks for you?

Why not just set that specific link as your "Home Page" which loads everytime you open your web-browser? It's really that simple:

Opera: Tools >> Preferences >> Home page <enter URL here>
Mozilla Firefox: Edit >> Preferences >> Main >> Home page <enter URL here>

it could either be:
1) A voting site eg. a topsite listing that he wants to use to promote his own/favourite site
2) A site like this:
http://www.therainforestsite.com/cli...faces?siteId=4
Which supports a charity every time you click (or he could do something like that to make money himself)

Hahah, I remember when I was 14 and Gaia Online was big... I got sick of clicking around the forums for gold, so I made a small VB program that would type in a series of URL's and hit enter as fast as the page would load. Worked marvellously, too bad the cause was so rediculous :P

Oh, and I dont have the program anymore... it was a long time ago.

Edit: I also remember a flash game where the objective was to click a button as fast as possible. With a series of [tab] [enter] keystrokes fed from a program I cheated my way through that too.
