Way to go - Seamonkey 1.1.4

I do not know exactly what happened. I was visiting my former ISP to get my " smartermail " when there I clicked the delete key to get rid of email I did not want. Instead of deleting the email " smartermail opened it up. After that my computer went even more haywire than it already was. Running the Suse 10 repair did not help. I could not even put my home folder files onto a disk or access the Internet. I therefore had to reinstall Suse 10, which wiped out everything Suse, and I had to buy another external U.S. Robotics 5686 modem.

After the new instalation I thought to myself- why bother with any of the Suse updates ( and the many, many hours that it takes to download all of them ) when the only thing that I found useful was the " Seamonkey " browser from Mozilla. So I went to:

    The SeaMonkey® Project

and I downloaded Seamonkey 1.1.4. I like this new version of their browser!!

With it I can set up many different profiles with different bookmarks on each of them. The things that I save to my computer will be sent to different folders belonging to each of the different Seamonkey profiles. My Mozilla browser was not taken over by Seamonkey even though Seamonkey installed the same bookmarks which disappeared when I put in the new profiles.

I lost my previously saved Suse files and links and had to buy a new modem; but the " silver lining " is that I can now unzip tar.gz files through the archive manager, Suse loads up much quicker now, and I got exposed to Seamonkey 1.1.4 which is going to finally cause me to be somewhat more computer organized and far neater with my files.

Oops I spoke too soon! I just turned my computer back on and the Mozilla icon is still on my desktop but Mozilla's innards have become the same as Seamokey.
