It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Looks like it might be Windows.

    I don't recognize the browser.

I would guess Windows too. I'd say they have just used an application like Windows Blinds to modify the Start button text and theme

It's from a movie or TV show, I'm guessing? I think I saw "Marky" Mark Wahlberg in one of the pictures.

Operating systems in Hollywood are almost always made up for that specific shot, and rarely exist outside of the special effects department. Sometimes you'll see Apple computers obviously running Microsoft Windows or PCs obviously running the Mac OS. Sometimes they'll combine two OSes so you end up with a Mac OS that has a C:\ prompt (Office Space).

In other words, it's fake. The OS displayed doesn't exist. They probably cobbled it together with a few different theming programs on MS Windows. The same goes for the browser. It looks like a themed version of Netscape Navigator.

It's from that movie, indeed. What was it called again?

Techiemoe is probably right about the OS. There's a chat program in it to.
Can't tell an OS by it's GUI

The screen shot that shows Marky Mark also calls him "Bob Lee Swagger." According to IMDB that's the name of his character in the movie Shooter.
