I do not want to go through this same thing with someone else. I am told I would need to have my own server to safeguard my website's intergrity. If I could afford a server ( even a cheap one ) I still would not know how to set it up, maintain it, and/or run it.
Perhaps what I need is a blog something like Hazel's!

I've used NameSecure.com and NetworkSolutions.com in the past and was quite happy with both. However, they aren't as inexpensive as that "cheap to register" place.

cousinlucky, perhaps you should just check with your Internet Provider, when you signed up for an Internet Account, you more than likely were allocated web space to create your own web page or blog. As a charter@home user, I was allocate something like 50MB of web space. This way you have no worries about sleazeball advertizers.
I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

Cheap to Register proved to be quite a trap. It's like those free golf and dinner " Education Seminars " for senior citizens that are just frauds and rip offs.
Cheap to Register " gets to use my domain name for its sleazy come ons while my good name, reputation, and private information will take the fall legally and morally if anyone sues.
My first dial-up ISP was Budget Dial up which loaded adware and spyware into all of its customers computers. I use Copper.net now but I do not trust them either. They did not like it when I switched to using Linux. The domain name I registered is so tainted in my mind now I do not want to use it anymore.
I checked my " WHOIS " and my " status " : CLIENT TRANSFER PROHIBITED
What does that mean?
Thank You, Ozar for the suggestion. I'll look into it.
