Crapped on Again!!
I am all of the time telling young male members of my family that their egos, vanity, and testosterone will make them do foolish things. Once again I prove myself correct.
My ego and vanity desire to have an Internet website someday so I purchased a domain name from " cheap to register " who was recommended by
someone on LinuxForums.
Cheap to Register's " partners " then set up a web page
using my " parked " domain name that debases and insults me and what I had idealistically planned for my website. At:
serious cousin real estate costa at realseriouscousins.org
you will see what cheap to register's partners created and why I feel so ashamed.

cousinlucky,
That's just a filler page that lets people know you haven't actually set up your webpage yet. You can take that down and create your own webpage once you log in.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.
All new users please read this.** Forum FAQS. ** Adopt an unanswered post.

I should have never applied for the domain name at all. I do not know how to even manage a computer; never mind a web sight, or a blog. The lofty ideals I have for " real serious cousins " are the complete opposite of the crap cheap to register has on the page. I feel very violated and very stupid about the whole thing.

That sounds like a good solution Ozar but I do not know how to do that.

Check out there support area, usually the support pages that web hosting/domain registrars have are targeted at people who don't know much about hosting a website.
If you go into the file manager, and edit the "index" file or create one, put some text into it, something you'd like it to say... at least you won't be displaying that advert page for them... hope this info helps a little.

Yeah, the " Enom " parking page can be altered for different monthly fees. All I want to do is to get away from them and their sleezeball operation asap!
