Broadband without a BT landline, possible?
I have just moved and I signed up to virgin media broadband and turns out there’s a lot many problems inside; like it not even opening our firm’s web design company website or taking over 3 minutes … leave alone the rest . so any broadband I get BT with charge me £125 to connect the phone line, money I just don’t have. I’m looking for a company that will give me a phone line and broadband without going through BT, possible?

According to Uswitch, such services are on their way, but not available at the moment. Such a service would require a huge investment in infrastructure by the provider, and I would expect an installation fee similar to BT's.
You may be able to find more on Google, but you might also consider radical alternatives, such as the mobile network - most operators will allow you unlimited data for a fixed fee a month, and it might be a short-term alternative.Linux user #126863 - see http://linuxcounter.net/

I agree, we have Virgin Media, TV is shite but the Internet and phone are good.
Don't get BT, they WILL screw you over, without lube, ouch.
