    Something That happened

Okay me and 3 friends go to Tech school for computer networking. And we were trying to go to Радиолэб, оборудование для радиосзвязи, антенны, коаксиальный кабель, вч разъемы, источники питания, термоусадка, холодная усадка which is a computer related website and we tried to go there and it was blocked. Okay so there is this thing which allows you to send a message to the administrator asking for permission to view the site. So we wrote "Why did you block this site its a computer related site WTF???" all that word for word. And well the administrator comes in and yells at all 4 of us and had the word WTF highlighted and she said that it was disrespectful and it was Molicious and if she was a boss she would fire us on the spot and she said that it could get you exspelled or suspended.

Does anyone feel this is alittle to extreme or anything let me know post comments or anything concerning this matter im posting this so i can get oponions.

    Thanks

it is a bit disrespectful due to the common understanding that wtf is "what the F*&@". might have found a more polite way of asking why the site was disabled.

it looks like the site has Greek language on it so if you don't have a Greek language pack for your browser it might look funny.

It is Russian I think. Why don't you try to explain what happened to the administrator or try to talk to someone superior about your problem with the administrator?

    yeah

well when we got in trouble the computer administrator was there and so was the asistant priciple idk if there is anyone higher to talk to but your opinion do you think anything was alittle to extreme i mean Molicious that was a term she used thats alittle to extreme dont you think? I understand its disrespecful we didnt mean it towards her we meant it towards the filter and she made it seem like we called her something bad but it was like whoa.

You just should not communicate in this situation the way that you did. It's unprofessional, and yes, there are lots of bosses who would fire you, or maybe admins who would forward the message to your manager. Your manager would then proceed to chew your ass out.

You're in a tech school preparing to be a professional when you get out (I went to one also). Keep that in mind.

I agree, there is nothing malicious about this site. In fact it could be useful for tech students who understand the language. However, the way you approached sysadmin was wrong, and you should have expected such reaction.
