New distro. Ideas?

I think some creative thoughts to desktop could be interesting for a distro...I personally do not like the menus button on most OS. I like hidden popup menus via icon..an icon drawer for freaquently used programs with icons for menu lists..I use wmdrawer on dsl I am not sure if there are others for linux..
this cleans the desktop of icons and makes the start button an icon or several icons for each section..and might be compatable with touch screens.. if a distro comes with this I would be interested in a look

Did you tried Gentoo ?
My experience with Gentoo is good. This is the best linux distro that will suit your requirement.
