You obviously need to beat him with a live penguin until he comes to his senses!

    1.) Main laptop: 14.1" Inspiron 1420N (Ubuntu)
2.) Experimental & Gaming desktop: Dimension 8400 (Vista)
    3.) For-fun laptop: 10" Vaio (ArchLinux)
    4.) Girlfriend's laptop: 13.3" Macbook (OS X)

I rarely use the latter 3. The Vaio is my girlfriend's dad's old computer that he handed off to me - it's a neat little machine but way too small to do any real work. Desktop still performs fine but I'm rarely home except to sleep (work & grad. school... not fun...) which is why I recently picked up my Inspiron which I love. I never use the Macbook but I paid for it so I figured I'd list it =).
    10" Sony Vaio SRX99P 850MHz P3-M 256MB RAM 20GB HD : ArchLinux
    14" Dell Inspiron 1420N 2GHz Core2Duo 2GB RAM 160GB HD : Xubuntu

    My brother is computer illiterate.
There is no way he could use a linux distro.
Example, I setup online banking for him.
The bank required that the password have upper and lowercase letters, and at least one number and at least one special character.
When I told him what the pass was, he asked why I couldn't make it all in lowercase, so he wouldn't have to hit the shift button.
Do you really think he could use a linux system?

I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop I use around the house and when travelling - runs Ubuntu Feisty, and Gutsy from release day onwards. There's also a Poweredge server I occasionally play with that's very loud - runs Ubuntu too.

My main rig is btrprime - runs openSUSE 10.3. It's a Q6600 2.4GHz quad core with 2GB of RAM, a pair of 320GB SATA drives, an nVidia 8600GT-OC/512MB GDDR3 and various other peripherals. Can you tell I'm proud of the new build

Dapper Dan - that's an amazing collection. How's the shoutcast server working out?
