I was actually talking about Links, not lynx, built with X11. This looks exactly like the framebuffer version of Links but under X with resizable windows and all. Running on the framebuffer is fun but it can become annoying since you need 1 terminal per app unless you have a windowing system like gtk+ for DirectFB or FWE (http://home.comcast.net/~fbui/fwe.html). When I had my very basic X install (a really long time ago) I used X11 Links, and it was OK.

I'm trying right now to get Links graphics working in Crux 2.3 with directfb. It's complaining that it's not finding /dev/fb0 and indeed it isn't in my /dev. Hmmm....
