    An interesting book

    Hi,

Just came across this wonderful book on Amazon and there is an interesting story about a man called Gary Kildall and his invention of the OS weighed against the many successes of Bill Gates.

Amazon.com: They Made America: From the Steam Engine to the Seach Engine: Two Centuries of Innovators: Books: Harold Evans,Gail Buckland,David Lefer

Do you know any other good books/articles on the net, that talk about some revolutionary IT software personalities? Please let me know if you do. Thanks..

    Well, there is wikipedia.
When you enter there Computer History I guess you'll find loads
History of computer science - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
History of computing hardware - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And I recall I saw a Documantary about ComputerHacking on Discovery and later I saw it on YouTube.
There are some Guys you might find intresting. Like the designer of the Mac.
And the Father of Crackers. (The names are Fage at the moment in my head sorry)
I think it was called "Can you Hack it?"

    Hope that helped alot.

    Cheers,
    Robin
