Hah, yeah. I'm sure some of you read xkcd, so you'll probably get it immediately. Actually, some xkcd readers sent him a katana a while back...
xkcd » Blog Archive » Life Imitates xkcd, Part II: Richard Stallman

It's all in reference to this comic:
xkcd - A webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language - By Randall Munroe

There have been a few real-life enactments of xkcd comics, and they usually make me giggle.

That's pretty funny there! ....Why did they have to get him such a cheap, cruddy-looking sword?

Those cartoons are quite funny. Not well drawn, but damn hilarious!

Mr. Stallman has my admiration. I can remember my " hippie " days of a beard long hair and a desire to be just as god made me. Unfortunately such a persona brings grief because no one wants to accept beards and long unkept hair.

I have an uncle who still tells me " I'm so glad that you got rid of that beard. " even though it was thirty years ago.

I met a waitress once in a health food restaurant who had shaved her head a couple of weeks before we met. She did not want to have anything to do with the " rules of society " anymore. She wanted total freedom. She was 22 and going to Tuffs college in Medford Mass. I was thirty-three and separated from my ex-wife. Her mother hated me. One heck of an intense summer romance.
