    Xubuntu 7.10

I've been playing with Xubuntu 7.10 today in a virtual machine (which means internet access). I must say I'm pretty impressed how they've managed to make XFce look and behave like Ubuntu's GNOME environment. I'm considering playing around with this some more at home, just to see how fast it flies on an AMD64. I also like the default color scheme (graphite and blue) better than the traditional Ubuntu brown... but that's just a side note.

Anyone else played with this? Any thoughts?

I had to install it over ubuntu on my wifes notebook because of the low memory requirements. I absolutely love it. my only problem is a problem with the menus not loading on the main user account on the pc my wifes user account loads the menu panels etc just fine but other than that its much better than ubuntu because of the memory and cpu the notebook has.

ps had to mention this as well for using the alt cd for customizing
