    Its just a quick question really which leads into more detail. With pidgin can you use web cams? Also, for windows im using my ps2 usb eyetoy for a webcam is there any way of using this with a linux distro?

    The answer is not yet. They're working on multimedia for release 3, last I heard/checked. You should check out their developers page.
