    Fun things to do with a linux vps.

    Hi,
    i was just thinking of some fun things to do witg a linux vps while visiting the forums on my mobile phone. I have a cheap centos vps to test some linux server apps on for my business. do you know of some cool things to do with a linux vps? share them here!

    Virtual Private Server, have you heared of that? Some people call it VDS ( Virtual Dedicated Server ).

    i am guessing you mean a server that has been virtualized? if thats the case they do that at my work just not on anything of importance. our web server, print servers etc. our database servers in test are done that way and boy are they slow.

    I meant a "server" within a real dedicated server. A VPS server gets some resources allocated like 128 MB Ram , some hdd space, and some cpu.

    You can get VPS's with full root acces, just like with a dedicated server. I use dedicated servers as my primary hosting machines for myself , and my business. But a VPS is just so fun to play with
