Flavor for Gaming
I hope someone can help me. I'm looking for a flavor of Linux that will allow me to run Windows based games such as Diablo, Star Craft, War Craft, Ever Quest, Flight Simulator 2007 and the like. Can anyone tell me what Distrobution, (farely easy to install I might add) would do all this?
Second part is that I hear there is also a version of Linux capable of running Play Station games as well. If this is true then please let me know.
Thanks for help from whom ever can help.

StarCraft should run fairly well in any Linux distribution using WINE. The others are a gamble really. All Linux distributions will perform the same when it comes to trying to run Microsoft Windows software.
If you're that much of a gamer, keep a MS Windows install handy. Dual-boot your system and boot into XP when you want to game. You'll have much better performance and reliability that way.
The problem with running PlayStation games on anything other than a PlayStation is that it requires having not only an emulator program, but also the PlayStation boot ROM. The former you can find for free all over the internet. The latter is illegal to obtain.Second part is that I hear there is also a version of Linux capable of running Play Station games as well. its only illegal to obtain if you dont already own it. many of them will also play from the discs, so if you've got the orginals you should be ok. try having a look on SourceForge or The Linux Game Tome for ps1 emulator projects
You know, aliens are going to come to earth in 50 years and kill the hell out of us for DDoSing their networks with this SETI crap

Getting away from Microsoft All together
Thanks for the info "TechieMoe" but I'm trying to migrate from Microsoft products completely. I've been growing a real hate for them for some time now. Thanks for the info though again, and I'll check into all that.

For gaming you can install cedega which is a commercial
version of Wine that has been optimised for gaming. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.
