    Database Woes

    I need some help with an SQL reporting problem and have no idea where to start looking. In essence, I need to find a way to generate reports from a series of SQL servers and would like to do so using Open Source tools if possible. To further add to the mix, I'd like to be able to run it from my Mac but this isn't an absolute necessity.

    Can anyone suggest a starting point?

    There are a lot of ways to do this. A good place to start would be -

    But on the other hand it depends what type of reporting you need to do; straight queries, statistics, graphs, financial?
