| I'm a proud South Carolina redneck soon to turn 50. I own and operate a radio station and a restaurant and am married to a beautiful woman 15 years my junior. We have a son and a daughter.
I'm that guy you see sitting in his pickup truck in front of the Waffle House on I-95 with the Confederate flag bumper sticker and the rifle rack in the back window. I never use the term, "you guys," when referring to women as they are not guys, but more appropriately refer to them as "you ladies" or simply, "y'all." My favourite pass times are bass fishing, watching drag racing and reading history. Most of all I like drinking sour mash whiskey and listening to Buck Owens while compiling kernels and apps on Slackware and Crux 2.3. |

| I'm a 40 year old PHP, MySQL developer who was introduced to the pair
in a Windows environment... go figure.
We are gradually moving our servers to Linux, almost by stealth in our company.

I hate computers so much I just want to smash them through to hell
I love computers so much I want to make them friendly enough to go to heaven, no I'm not christen
heres what I mean by the above two
I hate how computers give you so many problems
but I love trying to solve them as I learn more
I want to build computer hardware, plus I will make the plugs different for each part, so it's easy for people first time builders to build them, them selves, plus have ones that go with our current set up
I want to code for Linux, and make my own distro
I live in Australia
I don't have a girlfriend nor do I want one
I don't have any friends nor do I want them, as they have always been either hogs or stabbed me in the back, the only friend I have is my "pets", there the only ones who I can trust, my dog is my real best friend as he follows me everywhere
I talk a lot ( ^^^^^^^ )
I ask so many questions people and up not liking me (I'm only trying to learn)
I have really good close range eye sight, thanks to leaning close to my screen, and terrible long sight
I'm not going to high school, I'm going to TAFE
I do face-up at Bi-Lo, my local grocery store
I'm still trying to find a Linux distro that just works
I have five working Linux distros and three arn't working well, one is Sabayon, I didn't know Linux could be so heavy, I still need to try Xubuntu and Fedora
and if those don't work well, I'll need to do alot of burning
well, thats who I am |

I'm still trying to find a Linux distro that just works | Sounds like you might be a perfect candidate for Slackware, Gentoo or Crux. They'll give you plenty of problems to solve, but you'll learn much in the process. In the end, you'll have a tweaked and rock solid distro that just works. |
