I'm a little old lady from Harrow. I'm retired now but I used to work in a research library, using command line interfaces on mainframe computers.

My name is Nick. I am a 23 year old certified Redneck, married with one child (a boy named Jordan).

I am a welder for a livng. I used to be a programmer and web/graphics developer but switched careers about 3-4 years ago. I am currently dipping back into the computer world and reteaching myself what I forgot, and learning everything that has changed since I was working in the computer field. It's a big change from writing Macintosh software for several years then taking a break and starting up programming for two new operating systems (windows/linux). It's a fun challenge and I really enjoy it. I just hate how Windows has like 4 different APIs for GUI development and they are all completely different and incompatible with each other. What a major PITA.

I live in Northwest Washington and I am an outdoorsman. I like fishing, hunting, and anything to do with the outdoors (ya, kind of backwards since I also love working with computers. )

I have two cats. I drive a 2001 Dodge Ram extended cab pickup fully equipped with mobile welding equipment. Hmmm...what else. That's it I think

hey, u guys seem to have lot of fun. ilike ur 'soh'. hope some of it brushes off on to me!! i am from india and am in no way even remotely working in IT, although i would luv shifting gears and transiting to high speed world of IT. can i see nay offers coming up??

Ya, it gets real annoying when people don't use the standard internet shortened versions of words/strings of words. I use the standard "LOL, IMO, PITA, WTF, OMFG, POS". Now people are putting entire sentences and novels in short form and they expect everybody to understand it! OMGWTFBBQ!!

Second of all, yes. OMGWTFBBQ is Oh My God What The **** Bar B Que. It's sort of an inside internet geek joke that me and a group of internet buddies made up in a chat room when I was like 16 years old. You say it when you get real excited.

For example:

Person 1: Hey, I just won $300,000,000 on this week's lottery!
Person 2: OMGWTFBBQ That's awesome!!!!
