Who are you?

I am just a lil curious. Who are yall? Im not asking for names. But:
Where are you from (country)?
About how old are you?
What do you do for a living?

I am curious what age group dominates this forum, and if every one is in the IT field or not.

Thanks, now I have the theme from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation stuck in my head...

I'm from the southern USA, Texas to be exact. I'm 25 and I write criminal justice software in Java. I also administer our DB2 and Model 204 databases and develop and maintain web services used by the public.

Yes, but it's government, so you're going to need about 3 years of meetings, a metric ton of paperwork, and the budget of a small country.

Or, you could just get arrested in the Houston metro area. Chances are the officer booking you uses it.

And I would get a copy for my own use how?

I guess after he arrests me I could blind him with the reflection from the handcuff then run out with his computer. Thanks for the idea. Im off to texas, be back in about 5-10.

Haha. Well, the software I write would be pretty useless for "personal" use. It's used to query our enormous justice databases (criminal and civil) and return case information, among other things. That wouldn't work if you didn't have access to the databases behind it.

See I knew you were smart. I didnt even need to ask for the access to the db. You already knew I would need it.
