Need free shell for hosting game server

Hello thar, this is my first post on this forum (But not my first post ever, anywhere). Please move this if neccessary.

I am in need of a free Linux shell account with Libstdc ++6, 5MB of quota and FTP access. As I will be hosting a server I will need 2 background proccesses and thats it. If anyone has anything or knows anyone that provides such a service, please do tell.

And, I think you should have posted this in or the Coffee Lounge or in Classified.

Finding free hosting is hard so not imposible.
Well if you Hire a Very cheap host.
And you wont need the HTTP that you also get with it.
You can put that full with ad's so they'll pay for your Hosting Plan.

Yeah good idea, though have you ever seen anyone make much money from that? On another one of my sites I set up a Bidvertiser account and made $0.24 Though the payout to PayPal is $10.00

Well there is a way to pick Dirty Ads
They pay way more..
If you put Google ad's + Bidvertiser + <Dirty> you'll get most of the money back.
And PayPals payout is 10$ indeed. But if you'd make them send the Money directly to your Bank account you wont have to pay PP.

Some hosts are really cheap.
But well if you need a game server you'll need about Unlimited Datatransfer you can also re-sell the Domain that the server runs on.

If you are creative you can get practicly free hosting..
I am going to start Server anytime around now I'd like to host it for you.
But its a really old computer that is going to become the server. (400Mhz)

Do you mean Dirty ads as in Adult ads? There might be some visitors on my site that wouldn't be in the age range for that. If you say you will be good to host then great The program isn't much of a band-width hog and there will only be less than 7 people using it at one time. All I want is 2 background processes, 5mb quota, FTP and SSH.

Well, if its a Big Game (eg UT, WOW, Ragnarok) you'll kill Bandwidth
I can give you the 5Megs if you want them no problem.
And with Ditry Ads I aint talking about Adult ads only.
I mean also those "1.000.000 Visit!! CLICK TO GET YOUR PRICE!! 10SECONDS REMAINING" flashing Banners..
And I mean only put Ditry ads on if you are not going to use the server as a httpd host.
I hope I make my idea for you a bit clear.
Zango also has nice ad's. They are the biggest Scum of the earth but if they'll pay you for ad's on a website that you dont even look at. What harm does it do?
I am still thinking about setting this server-up.
Since I dont want to make my internet slower.. (I have 10Megabyte UP/Down now.)
And I dont want to be annoyed with a FAN that makes noise when I try to sleep.

Well, Ill look into it for you.
But I think you can better take a cheap webhost that offers Full-Root-Access.

Thanks for all the help and if your computer isn't running flatout then turning down the fan settings in BIOS wouldn't hurt at all... A friend of mine used to run a server ages back when I wasn't into hosting and his computer never even heated up with fans on 1/4 speed. And I currently have 3 computers running off the same internet at my house with barely any lag.

Yes it would since I run more then only that server..

I currently have 6 Computer on our network.
This is going to turn into 8 very Quickly.
two of the PC use Actively Torrents.
So, I think I can get lots of problems with running Flatout..
