My first digital cam
Yesterday I bought my first cam. Its a Kodak. I just plugged into my Linux laptop and it recognized it! I know that these days most cams work with Linux but just wanted to share my excitement with all you and to add another working cam into the list (if its not there already!)

Well done apoorv_khurasia! Always a good feeling to plug in the device into the linux box and work out of the box. Happy photo-shooting

Nice one. Check out F-spot. It's great for managing photos. Because I work in databases using tags and running searches on metadata seems the most logical way to browse for me. Plus it has some simple and direct editing tools and a nice slideshow. Definitely worth a look for a new Digital Camera user.
