Whatever possessed you to format your font that way?

I'm not familiar with that particular book. I see that it fared poorly on amazon's ratings system, FWIW.

If you are a new Linux user, I urge you to spare yourself a painful experience that costs $749. Focus on learning Linux fundamentals at this point (preferably with RHEL or CentOS), and get yourself well enough up to speed to pass the RHCT exam.

Review the prep guide and make sure you know the requirements very well (for the level of exam you'll be taking).

    Ditto what Anomie said...

The RHCE is not an easy cert to get and requires real hands-on experience with most aspects of RedHat.

Works in the greeting card industry?

Anyhoo another perspective on Certification. This doesn't apply only to the Red Hat certs.

It is usually possible to cram enough exam prep material to pass any certification exam.
But in doing so, you will be doing yourself and your fellow certified engineers, programmers
    or whatevers absololutely no favours.

You will do yourself no favours as you won't really know the subject. Assuming that you
are thinking of taking the exams to help you get a job, you will be quickly found out by
your peers and eventually by your bosses.

You will be doing your fellow certified professionals no favours as by cramming, examing
and scramming, you devalue the certification. Everyone starts to get tarred with the
    same brush.

You will be doing your work colleagues no favours as they will have to fix the mistakes
that you make. If you just try to pass certs, you will make mistakes.

I have no real knowledge if you fit the above rant, but seeing this in a post asking
about certs sets my alarm bells ringing.

You (and everyone else) will be far better off following the advice offered by anomie and
actually getting experience with the product. I would add that you should make sure that
you understand the subject very well before taking any exam.

Sorry for the rant, but I have had to clear up the mess caused by various so called certified
programmers over the last few years.

My new blog. It's probably not as good as I think it is.

thanks everyone but i wanna say that i read in this book that there is some prerequisites to complete the book and i know well that i must involve with the system to pass that exam but now i am talking about the material that would help me you know i am looking for a material act as the real course so would this book be enough or what?
i am not very new but i haven't do any administrator tasks as tcp/ip network configuration so i am looking to get the experience from the books beside using the system
    bye
