Okay, google Archos 605 wifi or go to ARCHOS . make sure you get the correct one. (605) The hacking team at the archosfans forum will know what hack they want. Forum.ArchosFans.com :: View topic - Archos 605 Hacking
that is the link to the thread where the hacking team is working on hacking it. i suggest that you read all the pages to know really what they are talking about. By the way, if you accomplish this, you will be very popular. Many people that have the archos 605 are waiting for someone to hack it. You will be known

There are a few things which worry me about your thread.

1. You repeat a lot of text which - as anyone who wants to get noticed online knows - is a good way for Google to pick up key words.

2. You have a slightly provocative 'handle'... Why are you a 'murderist'?

3. You don't have a post count yet, but you appear to want 'disciples' whom you are trying to recruit.

4. You use the word 'hacker' a lot. What's your definition of a 'hacker': please take time to explain that to us.

5. In my experience when people come here (with a 0 post count) and start asking people to click on a link, it's a bad link which is designed to cause problems.

6. You didn't think of 1-5 when you posted this thread. If you were a real hacker you would have done.

These are just a few points I wanted to make. It's up to you how you respond.

LOL
I'm no hacker, i just need someone to help the hack team at the archosfans website. I decided to help them by doing anything i could. I don't know the slightest bit about hacking. I just thought the Archos 605(mp4 player) is a linux based pmp, so i should go to a popular linux forum to find someone to hack that monster. Many people from my forum have tried and failed. Sorry if i come out to be a spammer or someone trying to put a virus to your comp.

Hey robbin, that portable media player is pretty hot though right? damn it sucks that you can't help. since you hack hardware and software, you might have had the best shot because they were saying that the archos 605 had some sort of encryption. Like when you buy the web plugin from the archos website, it issues you the plugin made for your archos 605 machine.(you can't copy it to let someone else put the plugin on theirs). but thanks anyways bro
