I guess that I'm not enough of a fan for Gnome to try Geubuntu. I'll bypss the eye-candy and stick with solid performance.

I'm actually really keen to check this one out. I used elive (debian+E17) and thought it was great, I had it as my main distro for months in fact. Though I'm still waiting for the reviews to come in to see if geubuntu has any major flaws.
I was actually downloading it this morning, when it was interrupted. Now I have to wait till tomorrow to try and download it again (during off peak internet hours). It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets.

When I was having difficulty with Kubuntu, to make it do what I wanted it to do, then I started calling it Kumbuntu. Heck, I don't speak Swahili, I don't know the difference!

GEubuntu did go to the top of the Distrowatch list within a week of it launch ...me thinks not bad for a small distro. Actually it is rather good and well worth checking out.
