Dun dun DUUUUUUUNNNN. Sorry. Just thought that needed a dramatic music sting. I swore off Seagate and Maxtor a few years back due to some reliability issues. Up until the retirement of Rig 1, I was still using a 5 year old Western Digital I pulled out of an old Micron computer.

Just for informational purposes. Actually I've been using WD exclusively since I worked in LAN administration four years ago. Every failed hard disk we ever had was Seagate or Maxtor. Western Digital drives just kept on going.
