I'm not sure whether the "new" just wore off of my ads or what, but this month has been pretty dismal for AdSense. I've made $0.01 so far. I'm getting the same amount of traffic as far as I can tell. Then again, I guess not many folks would want to buy Dells off an ad at the bottom of my latest rant.

For me since you are being up front & honest in your rants about issues that can affect many of us I would say go with what ever works for you.
When I look at a site like yours with the rants whether I look at an ad can be affected by whether I trust the person running the site.
CREDIBILITY and TRUST I suppose I am saying.

Haha. More of a musing than anything. According to Google's guidelines I can't explicitly ask people to click on the ads, so don't get me wrong. I want folks to click ads when they're genuinely interested by them. They just don't seem to be all that interested this month.

Well, I don't think an ad for the Eee would be out of place as it runs Linux. Or how's about an ad for CompTia certs?

If most of your visitors are geeks, you could run ads for cool
geek stuff. Eee is one such thing, how about places ads for
places like (and things found on) thinkgeek?

I have never used google ads so I don't know how muh control you
have over what you get, but if they are not being clicked, try
something else. If you keep changing your ads maybe monthly
you may get better results.

I'm only one person, and not a computer knowledgable person, but I like the uncluttered look of TechieMoe.com!

The only thing that I am wondering about is why there are not any links to relevant Linux websites.
